We have just reinvented the fire-fighting vehicle – again. Not entirely,
perhaps, but in many smaller and larger components.
The difference is in the detail: for firefighting vehicles, that is particularly appropriate. When on calls, it is after all the little things which can save valuable seconds and make the difference between success and failure of the operation.
Against this background, our engineers and designers have been working on a host of detail solutions and modified existing systems. The aim in principle is always to further improve functionality, to reduce costs and thus to increase efficiency. The best example of this is the new MAGIRUS blue light, which is to be fitted on all our vehicles in future.
The MAGIRUS HMI (Human Machine Interface) operating unit too, which is found in the driver‘s cab and on the pump stand, is another of the standard detail solutions designed to make the hard graft of the fire-fighters‘ everyday round a little easier in future.
