Also in Austria, after a successful start had been made with the large vehicles, transferring the AluFire 3 technology to small vehicle production began. Franz Lohr, managing director of the IVECO MAGIRUS plant in Graz, presented the brand new AluFire 3 compact vehicle series on the basis of the IVECO Daily: an LF-(A) 6.7 t with an aluminium body including integrated cab as well as a KLF-(A) 5.5 t in the Daily box van. The vehicles feature the distinctive trademarks of our Graz colleagues – not only in the innovative details but also the exterior design. Particularly eye-catching is the distinct roof and equipment locker configuration. Auto Deschberger in Ried im Innkreis was the perfect venue for presenting the new vehicles – with immediate effect the new service partner of IVECO MAGIRUS in Austria. Especially for the fire-brigades in the Upper-Austrian and Salzburg regions, the support provided for daily operations of the individual fire departments will be considerably improved with this new customer service point.
