Conrad Dietrich Magirus Award 2013
Applications start middle of March!

The Conrad Dietrich Magirus Award was established to rise awareness for the high and selfless commitment of fire fighters putting themselves into service of the community every day.
In Germany alone more than a million fire fighters (mostly volunteers) make an invaluable contribution to our society.
In 2013 the award will be granted again. Applications will be accepted starting middle of March at http://www.feuerwehrwelt.de.
The award was granted 2012 for the first time and is named after Conrad Dietrich Magirus, one of the greatest fire fighters in the world.
He founded the Magirus Company, was one of the initiators of the Deutsche Feuerwehrverband (German firebrigade association) and inventor of many groundbreaking innovations in fire fighting.
For the first time in 2013 Iveco Magirus will extend the award with an international prize.
